MvC break £200,000 barrier thanks to a wonderful sell out Weekender.

After months of planning another MvC Weekender is now over and what a weekend it was…

Friday 30th Sept was in memory of my dear friend and MvC coast2coast fundraiser Andy Brown who tragically passed away from cancer in July. A wonderful night of heartfelt celebration was kicked off by Kimberly Anne, followed by The Lake Poets and headlined by The Dunwells which raised £5,615.

Then on Saturday we welcomed the much awaited return of all four artists Ryan Spendlove, Kal Lavelle, Son of Dave and headliners The Blow Monkeys which also managed to raise £5,173 totalling a brilliant £10,788.

Both nights were simply amazing for so many reasons. I can’t thank the artists enough who travelled from far and wide to support MvC and continue to do so time after time, our fantastic sponsors, the home of MvC the Grand Hotel, Hartlepool and the forever faithful MvC crowd who are so supportive and generous always making the MvC Weekenders a continual sell out event.

To top things off MvC (inc Support Your Bowel) has now topped £200,103.67 since the 1st gig in Oct 2010.
Onwards and upwards, see you at the next events in 2017.
Thank you so much everyone – together we ARE making a difference.
Tony…
